Lunch and Learn: LEO Offaly Supports in Banagher

Local Enterprise Office Offaly brings its Lunch and Learn business supports session to Banagher on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, at midday. The free ninety-minute session is aimed at anyone running or planning to start a business in south Offaly, walking attendees through the practical supports LEO Offaly can offer, from grant aid to mentoring, over a light lunch provided on the day. It is a low-key, drop-in-style talk rather than a formal conference.

What to expect

The session covers the full range of LEO Offaly’s business supports in plain terms: Grant Aid for small capital projects, the Green for Business and Lean for Business efficiency programmes, Digital for Business supports for getting online or improving an existing website, plus mentoring, training and export advice for businesses ready to sell beyond Offaly. It is part of a rolling series LEO Offaly runs in towns across the county, having already stopped in Moneygall, Clara and Kilcormac earlier in 2026, with Kinnitty and Shannonbridge to follow later in the year. The format is informal and conversational rather than a lecture, with LEO staff on hand afterwards to talk through individual business ideas one to one. A light lunch and refreshments are included at no charge, and numbers are usually limited, so early booking is worthwhile.
