What to Expect

Marty Mone plays TF Royal in Castlebar on Friday 9 October 2026, bringing a genre-blending country, rock and folk sound that has built him a following well beyond the traditional country circuit - over 500,000 combined streams a week, by his own numbers. Mone’s story is part of the draw: a former truck driver who turned a self-produced track into a viral breakthrough in 2014, he has since played major venues including Croke Park and Belfast’s SSE Arena, picked up a Tunecore 100 Million Streams Award in 2025, and made regular appearances on RTÉ and Today FM. His live shows lean on that same up-from-nothing energy rather than a slick, over-produced sound - expect a full band, a set that draws from across country, rock and folk influences, and a performer known for connecting directly with a crowd rather than playing at a distance. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start, with unreserved seating. Getting There

TF Royal is on the Old Westport Road on the edge of Castlebar, with on-site parking and a multi-storey car park nearby. Castlebar sits on the N5, roughly two and a half hours from Dublin and an hour from Galway, and is served by Bus Eireann from Dublin, Galway, Westport and Ballina.
