Neil Delamere brings his “Reinventing the Neil” tour to the Waterfront Hotel in Ballina on the evening of Monday 27 July, performing as part of The Mary From Dungloe International Arts Festival. Ballina sits on the River Moy in north County Mayo, about 60km north of Castlebar and 55km south of Sligo. By road, the N26 connects it to Foxford and the rest of Mayo; the N59 runs west towards Crossmolina and Achill. From Galway the drive is around 90 minutes via the N17. Bus Eireann runs scheduled services into Ballina from Westport, Castlebar, and Sligo, with the town’s bus stop close to the town centre. There is no rail station in Ballina itself. Street parking is available in the town centre close to the hotel; arrive a little early on event nights as spots fill around the main venues.
