Free guided tours of the highlights of the National Folklife Collection are held every Saturday at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Summer workshops and trails for children run throughout the season. A “Greenway day out” family activity combines a visit to the museum with a greenway cycle (April 9 to September 30).
Admission to Turlough Park is free. Free guided tours, workshops and hands-on activities for families. Stunning historic house, gardens and cafe on-site. Activities are appropriate for children of all ages.
Turlough Park is located near Castlebar, the county town of Mayo, approximately 1.5 hours from Galway city.
