The second annual Anne-Marie Comey Memorial 5km run/walk returns to Summerhill village on Friday 24 July 2026. The event honours Anne-Marie Comey, who passed away in July 2024 following a battle with breast cancer. The first anniversary run in 2025 attracted close to 900 participants and raised over EUR 61,000 for the Irish Cancer Society. The 2026 event follows the same 5km course on roads around Summerhill village and is open to runners and walkers alike.
