Meath Travellers Workshop presents a full day celebrating Traveller culture and heritage during National Heritage Week 2026. The event features a fully restored barrel-top wagon, a camp setting, tinsmith display, storytelling, and displays of traditional crafts, tools and domestic items. Traveller beady pocket workshops and traditional soda bread-making are also offered. The exhibition challenges stereotypes and builds understanding of Traveller traditions and values.
During National Heritage Week 2026, 15-23 August; most likely date is in the second half of the week.
