Two artist-led plein air painting workshops are being held at Killyconny Bog, one of Ireland’s Special Areas of Conservation, as part of the 2026 Hinterland Festival programme. Session one is on Saturday 20 June and session two is on Sunday 21 June. Participants gather at Mullagh Heritage Centre, where they are introduced to the bog before travelling by bus to the painting location. The workshops are open to adults of all experience levels and are led by professional local artists.
