Newgrange Farm Family Day Out - Slane

What to Expect

Newgrange Farm near Slane is a working family farm open to the public seven days a week from 1 May 2026 through the summer season. Visitors can bottle-feed and pet farmyard animals, play in the large sandpit and pipe area, ride toy tractors, explore the straw maze, race go-karts, and enjoy the under-5s play zone. Tractor trailer rides travel through farm crops and livestock to the River Boyne and local national monuments. On Sundays, bank holidays, and special event days, the popular Newgrange Farm Sheep Race takes place in the afternoon. There is an on-site restaurant.

Getting There

The farm is located near Slane, accessible from the N2/M2 northbound or the N51. Car parking is available on site.
