Portadown People's Park Family Fun Day 2026

What to Expect

Portadown People’s Park hosts an annual Family Fun Day each summer, organised by Get Active ABC and Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council. The event is free and open to all families across the community. The park itself has been transformed with a state-of-the-art play area featuring a pirate ship, zip line, pyramid climbing frame, swings, sand pit, and slides - suitable from toddlers to teenagers.

The Fun Day adds entertainment, activities, and a festive atmosphere to the park. The 2025 event took place on 9 August and was a major success. The 2026 date is expected to fall in a similar window in August.
