What to Expect

The Taste of Sligo Food Festival is a two-day celebration on the banks of the Garavogue River featuring culinary delights from local producers, Sligo food trail businesses, and regional and national food vendors. The event includes live chef demonstrations from celebrity chefs Shane Smith, Sunil Guy, Lou Robbie and Shamzuri Hanifa, alongside local food experts. The festival combines good food, local musicians, live bands, family entertainment and non-stop activity across both days.

Getting There

Queen Maeve Square is in central Sligo town on the banks of the Garavogue River. It is accessible on foot from Sligo town centre. Car parking is available in nearby town car parks and along the riverfront area.
