The Princess Proms is a live-band concert built around the songs of animated film soundtracks, staged at the TF Royal in Castlebar on Friday 14 August 2026. The performers, who the show’s promoters say have appeared on the West End and ITV and performed for royalty, sing through favourites from Frozen, Wicked, Moana and The Lion King alongside a run of contemporary pop songs. It is pitched squarely as a family afternoon out - a matinee slot rather than an evening gig - with a run time built around younger audiences who want to sing along rather than sit still. Expect costumed performers, big group vocal numbers, and a set list weighted toward songs that a primary-school-aged crowd will know instantly. The minimum age for entry is three, and the venue recommends arriving in good time, since seating fills up for family shows like this one. Doors open at 1:30pm ahead of a 2pm start, giving families time to settle in before the show begins.
