What to Expect

The Sound of Springsteen recreates a full Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band-style show at TF Royal in Castlebar on Saturday 19 September 2026. The production promises “high-octane vocals” and “phenomenal stage production” across a set that the band says spans Springsteen’s catalogue from his earliest albums through to recent work, built around the “thundering guitars, iconic saxophone and powerful lyrics” that define the Boss’s sound. It is a standing-room, full-band tribute rather than an acoustic or stripped-down set - expect stadium-rock energy scaled into a theatre room, with a set list weighted toward the anthemic, well-known songs that make a Springsteen show a communal singalong as much as a concert. Getting There

TF Royal is on the Old Westport Road on the edge of Castlebar, with on-site parking and a multi-storey car park nearby. Castlebar sits on the N5, roughly two and a half hours from Dublin and an hour from Galway, and is served by Bus Eireann from Dublin, Galway, Westport and Ballina.
