Mullingar Rugby Football Club runs bingo twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday nights, both in the clubhouse and online over Zoom for anyone playing from home. It has grown into one of the county’s bigger regular bingo nights, with a minimum nightly giveaway of €1,720 spread across eleven games, funding the club while giving Westmeath’s bingo regulars a serious prize pot to play for.
Doors and online sales open ahead of the 8pm start, with eleven bingo games played each night including a jackpot game that increases by €50 every session it goes unclaimed. Sheets range from €12 for a single self-printed sheet up to €23 for a club-printed double, with extra options including a jackpot sheet, a 90-ticket bonus draw and a gold card ticket for players who want more chances across the night. Online players buy tickets in advance through the club’s own booking site and receive a Zoom link by email to play along from home, calling in numbers the same as anyone in the clubhouse. Tickets can be bought online in advance or in person up to 6:30pm on the night itself. Players must be over 18 and based in the Republic of Ireland with a valid Irish bank account to collect winnings, standard terms for an online-linked bingo night of this scale.
Mullingar Rugby Club is on the outskirts of Mullingar town, with on-site parking for anyone attending the clubhouse in person. For those not travelling, the online Zoom option removes the need to get to the grounds at all.
