Cavan Walkers - Fortnightly Sunday Hill Walks

What to Expect

Cavan Walkers is a hill walking group affiliated with Mountaineering Ireland that meets every second Sunday. Meeting time is 10am for walks within the Cavan and Leitrim area, and 9am for walks further afield. Walks typically take 4 to 5 hours. The group has pick-up points in Ballyconnell, Bawnboy, Derrylin and Cootehill depending on the proposed hike. A reasonable level of fitness is required.

• Every second Sunday; meet at Orchard Bar car park, Drumalee, Cavan.

• 10am for local Cavan/Leitrim walks; 9am for further afield.

• Walks typically 4 to 5 hours; reasonable fitness required.
