Festina Lente in Bray runs a Jungle Book themed family workshop on Saturday, 15 August 2026, from 10:30am to 12pm. The 90-minute session is built around movement, storytelling and craft rather than a single activity, mixing jungle-themed yoga with interactive stories told using animal sounds. Children plant pea shoots in decorated pots to take home and make jungle masks, puppets or animal headbands from craft materials supplied on the day, so families leave with more than one thing made.
The workshop runs on the Festina Lente grounds in Bray, a social farm and equine therapy charity that also hosts the site’s regular Nature Mornings parent and toddler sessions, so the venue is set up for outdoor family activity rather than a classroom. Adult admission is free, with the ticket price covering the accompanying child.
