All-Ireland Camogie Finals Day 2026

At Croke Park · Croke Park, Dublin 3, Co. Dublin

All-Ireland Camogie Finals Day at Croke Park

The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Finals Day is one of the biggest days in the Gaelic games calendar - a full afternoon at Croke Park dedicated entirely to camogie at its highest level. On Sunday, 9 August 2026, four All-Ireland finals take place back to back: Senior, Intermediate, Premier Junior, and Junior. For Roscommon supporters, the Premier Junior final carries particular weight, as the county ran a strong campaign through the 2026 championship and their county team have given their supporters plenty to cheer about this season. Even if Roscommon are not in the final itself, the occasion draws supporters from every county who want to see the best camogie players in Ireland settle the year’s biggest questions on the GAA’s most famous pitch.

What to expect

Four All-Ireland finals fill the day, with the atmosphere building as each match finishes and the next begins. The Premier Junior final decides the championship at that grade and, crucially, determines which county earns promotion to Senior camogie for the following year. The Croke Park crowd on camogie finals day tends to be vocal and partisan in the best possible way - a mix of county jerseys, families, and pure camogie heads who follow the game closely. The stands fill steadily through the afternoon. Croke Park itself is an experience independent of the game: 82,000 capacity, the Hill 16 end, the Cusack Stand, the whole geography of it is worth taking in if you have not been before.

Tickets are sold through the official Camogie Association channels - check camogie.ie for links to Universe.com and Ticketmaster Ireland as the finals approach. Book early; finals day sells faster than the group stages suggest it might.

Getting there

From Roscommon town, Croke Park is roughly 90km via the N61 south to Athlone, then the M6 motorway east into Dublin. Allow at least two hours from Roscommon town to account for match-day traffic as you approach the city. Bus Eireann runs services from Roscommon to Dublin, and from Busaras the ground is a short taxi or DART connection away. Within Dublin, the 3, 11, 16, and 123 bus routes pass near Jones’s Road; the Drumcondra or Clonliffe Road approaches on foot from Connolly Station take about 20 minutes. Parking around Croke Park on finals day is very limited - public transport is strongly recommended.

While you’re in Roscommon

If you are making a day of it around the county before or after the match, Roscommon town has the ruins of a medieval castle right in the centre and a strong GAA tradition that gives context to why camogie at county level means so much here. There is more to see in Roscommon and across Co. Roscommon.
