The Armagh Georgian Festival returns for its annual celebration of the city’s Georgian heritage from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 November 2026. The festival has a strong performing arts programme running across multiple venues. Northern Ireland Opera presents a Georgian-themed evening in the intimate Primate’s Chapel, with arias, duets and period songs accompanied by period-inspired staging and costumes. Armagh Courthouse hosts a series of ticketed Georgian Mock Trials, offering a dramatic and entertaining glimpse into 18th-century judicial theatrics, featuring local performers and personalities.
The streets of Armagh city fill with costumed performers, street musicians and entertainers throughout the festival weekend, centred on Georgian Day on Saturday 29 November. The festival regularly draws an estimated 30,000 visitors and is supported by Tourism Northern Ireland.

The festival takes place across Armagh city centre. Translink operates additional bus services to Armagh during the festival weekend from Belfast, Newry, Portadown and surrounding areas. Car parking is available at Palace Demesne and city centre car parks.
