Glory Days - 1980s Tribute Concert, Market Place Theatre Armagh

At Market Place Theatre and Arts Centre · Market Street, Armagh, Co. Armagh BT61 7BW

1980s tribute band performing at Market Place Theatre Armagh

What to Expect

Glory Days is a nostalgic concert built around the biggest hits of the 1980s, playing Market Place Theatre’s main auditorium on Saturday 12 September 2026. Rather than focusing on a single act, the show pulls together a set of well-known 80s rock and pop songs performed live, aimed at an audience who want a full evening of decade nostalgia rather than a single tribute act. It sits alongside the theatre’s other September concerts, including Realta and Robert Mizzell’s Nashville Songbook the same week, as part of a busy run of live music through the month.

Shows like this tend to draw a mixed crowd looking for a singalong night out rather than a seated, quiet concert, so expect a livelier atmosphere than some of the theatre’s other programming. The venue’s 400-seat auditorium and full in-house sound system suit a band-led rock show well.
