TG4 All-Ireland Ladies SFC Semi-Finals 2026

At Croke Park · Jones' Road, Dublin 3

TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football semi-final at Croke Park

The TG4 All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship semi-finals are one of the stand-out days in the Irish sporting calendar - two matches on the same afternoon at Croke Park, with a place in the All-Ireland Final the prize. Armagh, who came through Group 1 alongside Cork and Waterford, are among the four counties contesting this double-header. For anyone who follows the Orchard County’s women, this is the big one.

What to expect

Two senior games fill the afternoon, with throw-in times of 3:15pm and 5:15pm, both broadcast live on TG4. The LGFA semi-finals at Croke Park typically draw sizeable, vocal crowds - this is not a half-empty stadium occasion. The atmosphere is different to club GAA: more colour, bigger numbers on the terraces, and the sense that the whole country is watching.

Armagh’s women have been building steadily. Their group stage campaign included a clash with Cork - one of the perennial powers of ladies football - and reaching the semi-final means they have beaten strong opposition along the way. The exact pairings for the semi-finals will be confirmed after the quarter-finals on 4-5 July, so check ladiesgaelic.ie for the confirmed draw before you travel.

The 2026 TG4 All-Ireland Senior Final is fixed for Sunday 2 August at 4:15pm, also at Croke Park.

Getting there

Croke Park is at Jones’ Road, Dublin 3 - well served by public transport. Dublin Bus routes 1, 11, 13 and 16 stop nearby. Connolly Station is about a 20-25 minute walk, and the DART will get you to Connolly from the south side or the north. There is no match-day car parking at the stadium, so public transport is the practical choice. Trains from Belfast serve Connolly directly, which suits travelling Armagh supporters well.

While you’re in Armagh

If you are making a weekend of it, the journey down through Co. Armagh is worth the time - the Apple County has an orchard landscape unlike anywhere else in Ireland, and Armagh city itself has two cathedrals and a fine Georgian streetscape. There is more to see in Armagh and across Co. Armagh.
