County Armagh Vintage Vehicle Club - Harvest Rally

At County Armagh Vintage Vehicle Club grounds · Mullurg Road, Markethill, Co. Armagh

Vintage tractors lined up at a harvest rally in County Armagh

What to Expect

The County Armagh Vintage Vehicle Club holds its Harvest Rally on Saturday 3 October 2026, the second of the club’s two big annual gatherings alongside its summer Annual Rally at Gosford Forest Park. The club describes itself as running “several annual tractor and ploughing events” through the year, and the Harvest Rally is the autumn edition, timed to fit the harvest season and drawing in vintage tractors, cars, stationary engines and other restored farm machinery from members and visiting clubs around Armagh, Down and Tyrone.

Exhibits are typically lined up in rows for visitors to walk around, with owners on hand to talk through the history and restoration of their machines. Past club rallies at the same time of year have combined static displays with working demonstrations, giving a flavour of how farms in the area operated before modern machinery took over. It is a low-key, family-friendly day out rather than a ticketed show, and the club has previously tied its rallies to small charity collections, asking for donations at the gate rather than charging admission.

The County Armagh Vintage Vehicle Club meets monthly at Ballygorman School House, Ballydogherty Road, Loughgilly, near Markethill, and the Harvest Rally is one of its main public-facing events of the year alongside the tractor road runs it organises for members.
