Bray Active Retirement Good Neighbour Morning

Bray Active Retirement Association holds a Good Neighbour Morning on the first Friday of the month at Little Flower Hall in Holy Redeemer Parish, a drop-in coffee morning aimed at anyone in Bray who is retired, newly retired, or simply looking for company and information about what the association runs. It is the entry point to a much wider programme the association organises for members aged fifty plus across the town.

What to expect

The morning itself is informal, built around tea, coffee and conversation from 10.30am, with association members on hand to explain the fuller programme, which includes holidays, creative activities, learning courses and sporting pursuits run from various locations around Bray through the year. It runs monthly from September through to June, so it pauses over the summer months of July and August before picking up again in the autumn. Good Neighbour Mornings work as much as a way for isolated or newly retired people to make contact with the wider association as a standalone event, and no booking is required, simply turning up to Little Flower Hall on the first Friday of the month.

Getting there

Little Flower Hall is part of the Holy Redeemer Parish complex in Bray, close to the town centre and within walking distance for most of the town. Bray is well served by Dart and bus routes from Dublin and Wicklow town.
