Carlow 10km Road Race

What to Expect

Carlow Athletics Club organises a 10km road race in the summer as part of their racing calendar. The route takes in roads in and around Carlow Town and is measured and certified. The race uses chip timing and results are submitted to Athletics Ireland for ranking purposes. It attracts runners from across Carlow and neighbouring counties.

• Entry fee approximately EUR 10; pre-registration required

• Athletics Ireland membership required to enter for ranking purposes; fun runners may enter non-competitively

• Race number and chip collected at registration on the morning

• Warm-up area and changing facilities provided at the start venue

Getting There

Start and finish in Carlow Town centre. Car parking available in town centre car parks, a short walk from the start line. Carlow Train Station is within 1km of the town centre.
