What to Expect

Carlow Pride Festival is an annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in the south east of Ireland, organised by a voluntary, non-profit committee. The festival typically features a marching parade departing from Carlow College and moving through the town centre to Carlow Town Park on the banks of the River Barrow, followed by a main event with entertainment, music and stalls in the park. Previous years have attracted upwards of 3,500 attendees. The 2026 festival is scheduled for Sunday 12 July.
