Bangor West Ladies Probus Club

Bangor West Ladies Probus Club is a women’s social club that meets regularly at The Old Inn in Crawfordsburn, just outside Bangor, one of two Probus clubs serving the town alongside the separate men’s Bangor Probus Club, which meets at Bangor Golf Club. Like other Probus groups, it exists to give retired and semi-retired women a standing weekly date built around company, conversation and the odd guest speaker, rather than any formal agenda or campaigning purpose. The Probus movement itself grew out of Rotary International decades ago and now runs as a loose federation of independent local clubs across Ireland and the UK.
