What to Expect

The Portarlington Lourdes Committee organises this annual pilgrimage to the Marian shrine at Lourdes in southern France. Participants journey to pray at the Basilica, attend daily masses, and experience the spiritual atmosphere of one of Christendom’s most significant pilgrimage sites. The eight-day pilgrimage includes guided spiritual activities and opportunities for private prayer.

Final payments were due by Monday, July 25, 2026. A limited number of seats may still be available. Those interested should contact the committee immediately. The pilgrimage typically includes accommodation, some meals, and guided visits to the shrine and surrounding areas. Travel is usually arranged via coach and/or flights.
