The 60th Ballinamore Family Festival is a week-long celebration of community, music, and family entertainment. Each evening features live concerts with top Irish acts performing on the Main Street platform. Days are packed with children’s activities including funfairs, teddy bear picnics, duck hunts, water sports, GAA competitions, arts and crafts workshops, treasure hunts, and more.
The festival runs from 9 to 16 August 2026. Evening concerts are free to attend and held on the main street. Family activities are spread throughout each day at various venues in Ballinamore. The festival is completely free admission for all events. Past artists have included Mike Denver, Derek Ryan, Sean Magee, and Johnny Brady.
Ballinamore is located in south County Leitrim, approximately 20km south of Mohill and 30km south of Carrick-on-Shannon. The town is accessible via the N4 and local roads.
