What to Expect

Backstage Pass: Sing, Dance, Act is a week-long summer performing arts camp for children aged 5 to 11 at Seamus Heaney HomePlace in Bellaghy, running Monday 3 to Friday 7 August 2026. Sessions run daily from 10am to 11am, working through singing, dancing and acting in a relaxed, no-experience-necessary setting, and building towards a short showcase performance for family and friends on the Friday to close out the week. The camp began on Monday but continues through this Friday, so there is still most of the week left to join.

Places are limited to 16 participants for the week, so it runs as a small group rather than a large drop-in camp, which suits children who might be nervous about performing in front of a bigger crowd. Because it is a single continuous week rather than a rolling programme, booking needs to be for the full week rather than individual days.
