Rory’s Stories brings The Good Ol’ Days to Hawk’s Well Theatre on Friday, 2 October 2026. The online comedy creator turned stand-up built a large following through short social media sketches before moving into full touring shows, and this one looks back at simpler pre-smartphone, pre-social-media times and how far daily life and manners have shifted since. It is a single evening date in the theatre’s main auditorium on Temple Street, with an 8pm start and a 16+ age restriction.
The Good Ol’ Days is a full stand-up hour built around nostalgia and social commentary, contrasting how people communicated, dated and behaved before smartphones with how things work now. It carries the same observational, character-driven tone that built Rory’s Stories’ online audience, translated into a longer live format. The date falls within Hawk’s Well’s autumn 2026 comedy run, alongside Vittorio Angelone, Gearoid Farrelly, Aoife Dunne, Ardal O’Hanlon and David O’Doherty, which makes the venue the main stop for touring stand-up in County Sligo this season.
