Summer Stars Reading Challenge at Offaly Libraries

What to Expect

National Right to Read initiative encouraging children to read over summer. Non-competitive: every child who reads even one book is considered to have completed the programme. Participants receive a reading card to log books, Summer Stars swag, a certificate and medal presented at end-of-summer ceremony.

Good to Know

• Runs 1 June to 31 August 2026.
• Works with physical books, e-books or a mix.
• Completely free.
• New library members can join online at www.librariesireland.ie.
• Register at your local Offaly library branch.
• Medals and certificates presented at end-of-summer ceremony.
