Positive Ageing Month runs throughout October across the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough, celebrating and enhancing the lives of those aged 50 and over. Events take place in Armagh, Portadown, Lurgan, Banbridge, Dromore and in local villages and rural centres.
The programme includes Tai Chi sessions, Nordic walking, dance classes, walking football, table tennis, boccia and fitness activities suited to all abilities. There are also events focused on health checks, local and family history talks, and protection against scams and accidents. The 2026 theme is “Move More to Live More.”
Throughout October 2026 at venues across the ABC Borough.
Open to adults aged 50 and over; most events are free.
