The Boyne Midsummer Festival is a multi-venue celebration across two weekends around the summer solstice, produced collaboratively by Droichead Arts Centre, Sound Town, Drogheda Night-Time Economy Adviser, Scotch Hall, Love Drogheda BID and Louth County Council.
Weekend 1 (19-21 June): The festival opens on Friday 19 June with “Echoes of the Abbey,” an outdoor evening concert on Abbey Lane at 9pm (EUR 15, includes a drink). The Trad Trail returns on Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June across seven Drogheda bars (free entry).
Weekend 2 (26-28 June): Saturday 26 June brings a family-focused pirate and princess themed day at Scotch Hall with face-painting, balloons and live music. Friday 26 June hosts the Night Moves Cafe at The Coffee Box (free, 8:30pm). Saturday 27 includes a family music showcase.
