At Breffni Arms Hotel / St. Patrick's Hall · Main Street, Arva, Co. Cavan
The Breffni 3 Province Challenge is a long-running annual charity multi-sport event based in Arva, Co. Cavan, now in its 25th year. The event offers distances for all abilities, including a 100km cycle through three provinces (Connacht, Ulster and Leinster), a 25km cycle, a half marathon, a 10km run/walk, and a 5km run/walk. Funds raised go to three cancer charities: Friends of St. Luke’s Oncology, the National Breast Cancer Research Institute Galway, and the Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care Fund. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, and complimentary tea, coffee and sandwiches are provided. Live music takes place on the Market Square in Arva after the event.
Date: Saturday 1 August 2026; 100km cycle starts 11:00am, shorter events from 1:30pm/2:00pm

Arva is located in south Co. Cavan, approximately 30km south of Cavan town on the N87 road. Parking is available in the village centre.
