What to Expect

Carlow Institute, operated by Kilkenny and Carlow ETB, runs a night college programme each autumn offering a wide range of QQI-accredited courses for adults returning to education. The 2026 autumn term begins in late September. Course fees, exam fees, awarding body fees, and course materials are all covered. A EUR 20 application fee and a EUR 80 KCETB administrative charge apply. Applications for September 2026 were available from the end of January 2026.
