At Clonduff Park · Hilltown, Co. Down
The Down All County Premier Reserve Championship reaches its semi-final stage on Saturday 8 August 2026, with two ties played at the same time across the county. Clonduff GAC host Kilcoo at Clonduff Park in Hilltown, while Mayobridge host Burren at their own grounds, both throwing in at 5:00pm.
This is the reserve grade of the county’s club football championship, giving second-string players a knockout competition of their own alongside the senior teams’ championship run. Clonduff against Kilcoo pits two south Down clubs against each other in a local semi-final, while Mayobridge and Burren meet in the other half of the draw. As a semi-final, both games are single-elimination, with the winners going through to the county final later in the championship calendar. Reserve football in Down draws a smaller crowd than the senior grade but keeps the same club rivalries and local pride, often featuring players who are pushing for a first-team place. Expect a tight, competitive contest at both venues with home support turning out for their club.
