What to Expect

The Ed Reavy Festival celebrates the music of Ed Reavy, the renowned Irish-American composer of traditional dance tunes from Co. Cavan. The festival runs across four days with 28 sessions in venues throughout Cavan town. Highlights include the Ed Reavy International Fiddler of the Year competition on Saturday (under 18 at 11am, over 18 at 2pm) in the Town Hall Arts Theatre; set dancing ceilis on Friday and Sunday; and a Saturday evening concert featuring Ryan Sheridan, Conor McDonagh, Andrew Cadden and Conor Connolly.
