Frostival Winter Festival 2026 - Light Switch-On

Frostival officially kicks off on 14 November with the Dundalk town centre light switch-on. From 5:30pm, Earl Street and Market Square come alive as the Christmas tree and Northern Lights display are switched on.

There’s plenty going on around it too. The Frostival Flavours Fayre brings local food and drink vendors to the streets, the Family Fun Zone keeps younger visitors occupied, and a 30-metre Ferris Wheel at St Patrick’s Cathedral gives you a view over the whole scene. All of it is free to attend.

Organised by Dundalk BIDS. Arriving a little before 5:30pm to find your spot on Earl Street or Market Square is well worth it.
