Italian-Irish comedian Vittorio Angelone brings his stand-up show You Can’t Say Nothing Any More to Kavanaghs Bar and Venue in Portlaoise, with a second date added for Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October 2026 after strong demand for the first show. Angelone, who co-hosts the podcast Mike and Vittorio’s Guide to Parenting and co-created the online series Fin Vs The Internet, has built a following on observational material about modern life, culture clashes and parenting.
An hour-plus of stand-up drawing on Angelone’s Italian-Irish background and his experience as a new parent, in the same conversational, quick-fire style that built his podcast audience. The extra date was added directly because the first Portlaoise show sold well, which points to a strong local following for his material already. Kavanaghs runs its comedy nights in the main bar and venue space on Main Street, with a bar service through the night and a proper stage set-up rather than a stripped-back open-mic room. Doors and any support act, where used, are usually confirmed closer to the date through the venue’s own channels rather than published far in advance.
Kavanaghs Bar and Venue is at 28 Main Street, Portlaoise, in the town centre, a short walk from Portlaoise train station on the Dublin to Cork and Dublin to Limerick lines. Public car parks and on-street parking are available around the town.
