What to Expect

Castleview Open Farm offers a family-friendly day out with friendly animals including goats, donkeys and alpacas that children can feed and pet. The farm features an indoor play area with slides, ride-on tractors and electric go-karts, plus outdoor play areas. Special summer activities include June bank holiday weekend celebrations with bouncy castles, hook a duck, animal encounters and family activities. August bank holiday weekend events feature additional summer activities throughout the farm.

Good to Know

The farm is open Thursday to Sunday 11 am to 6 pm during July and August. Children who complete the Summer Stars reading challenge through Laois Libraries by reading 16 books can enter a county prize draw with Castleview Open Farm vouchers as prizes. Private group bookings for families available.

Castleview Open Farm is located in Cullahill, approximately 15 minutes from Portlaoise in central County Laois.
