Markethill Community Festival 2026

What to Expect

The Markethill Community Festival is a week-long summer celebration in the heart of south Co. Armagh. Based on the annual programme, events typically include a two-day Charity Open Garden at Hawthorne’s of Markethill (Friday to Saturday, raising funds for local charities), a Fancy Dress Parade led by Mullabrack Accordion Band on the Monday evening, assembling at Bingham Square from 6:45pm for a 7pm parade start, and a Gospel Concert on the Sunday afternoon.

Getting There

Markethill is on the A28 Armagh to Newry road, approximately 7 miles from Armagh city. Street parking is available in the town centre.
