At Clogher Valley Showgrounds · Knockmany Road, Augher, Co. Tyrone, BT77 0BE
The Clogher Valley Show is one of Tyrone’s biggest single-day agricultural shows, held every year on the showgrounds outside Augher. The 2026 show runs on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, and typically draws around 20,000 visitors to see roughly 500 cattle, 500 sheep and 1,000 horses judged across the day, alongside hundreds of trade stands. It is run by the Clogher Valley Agricultural Society and has been a fixture of the local farming calendar for generations, giving Clogher Valley farmers a chance to show off their best stock.
Judging runs through the day across cattle, sheep and horse classes, with the society’s competition schedule also covering home industries and produce sections. A vintage and classic vehicle display is one of the show’s established features, judged separately from the livestock rings. Trade stands line the showgrounds selling farm machinery, country clothing, food and crafts, and there is a children’s entertainment area running for most of the day. The main livestock and horse classes build toward a parade of champions later in the afternoon, which usually draws the biggest crowd to the main ring. Exhibitors can download class schedules and entry guidelines from the show website ahead of the day, covering the cattle, sheep, horse, vintage and home industries sections.
The showgrounds are on Knockmany Road on the edge of Augher village, within walking distance of the village centre. Augher and neighbouring Clogher sit in mid Tyrone between Ballygawley and Fivemiletown, and the show draws traffic from across the wider Clogher Valley, so organisers advise arriving early and following on-site parking stewards.
Augher sits on the edge of the Clogher Valley, with Augher Lake and the ruins of Spur Royal Castle nearby, and the wooded grounds of Knockmany Forest a short drive away. There is more to see in Augher and across Co. Tyrone.
