Blackrock Family Funfair Festival 2026

What to Expect

Louth County Council is organising a three-day family funfair festival at Blackrock Lower Carpark from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August 2026 (setup 13 Aug, takedown 17 Aug). The festival aims to bring the community together in a safe, inclusive environment with high-quality funfair attractions suited to children and families. The Blackrock Village Festival (21-22 August) is a separate community event in the same village.

NOTE: As of 7 June 2026, Louth County Council was seeking a qualified funfair operator. The event is planned and funded but the operator had not yet been confirmed. Verify the event is proceeding at the Dundalk Democrat or louthcoco.ie before travelling.
