What to Expect

Christy Moore is one of the defining figures of Irish music, a song collector, activist and live performer whose career stretches from “Paddy on the Road” in 1969 through more than 30 solo albums. He is a founding member of Planxty and Moving Hearts and his live shows, built on close attention between performer and audience, have sold out venues from the Point to Carnegie Hall. His most recent studio album is “Flying Into Mystery” (2021), named Hot Press Folk Album of the Year. The TLT is a 900-seat concert hall in Drogheda and Christy’s appearances there sell out quickly. The bar opens at 6pm; the show runs 8pm to 10pm.

The TLT is at East Coast Business Park on Matthews Lane, a 10-minute walk from Drogheda town centre. Drogheda MacBride Station is on the Dublin-Belfast intercity line. On-street parking on Matthews Lane.
