Portarlington Library sets aside its meeting space every Tuesday morning for Puzzle Club, a free drop-in session built around a shared jigsaw puzzle rather than any structured activity. The next session falls on 11 August 2026. It is one of the simpler standing groups on the library’s weekly timetable, needing no prior sign-up and no particular skill, just a willingness to sit down and help fit pieces together.
The library keeps a jigsaw puzzle in progress in its meeting space, and members come and go across the morning, adding pieces and chatting as they work. There is no facilitator running a class and no expectation to stay the full hour, which makes it an easy, low-pressure activity for people who might not commit to a book club or a craft group with more structure.
