What to expect

Getting there

Kilgarvan Quay is at Brockagh, on the north east shore of Lough Derg, a short drive from Nenagh and about two hours from Dublin by road. There is parking at the quay. A car is the practical way to reach it, as the site is outside town.

While you’re in Nenagh

Nenagh is the main town on this side of the lake, with a Norman castle and a busy Saturday market, and makes a natural base before or after a session on the water. There is more to see in Nenagh and across Co. Tipperary.
