What to Expect

“Reboot”, performed under its fuller title Reduce, Rewind, F*ck It, Reboot, is a contemporary comedy sketch show written and performed by Anthony Kinahan and Ceara Carney, directed by Chris Moran. The two performers collide on stage in what is billed as a comedic cabaret of chaos, taking aim at the capitalist systems the show argues have created the current state of the world. The piece began life as a work in progress, shown at An Tain Arts Centre in Dundalk in early 2026, before a fuller staging later in the year, and this Drogheda date brings the developed show to Droichead as part of the venue’s support for new Irish comedy and sketch work. Both performers have worked previously on the Irish comedy and cabaret circuit, and the show’s evolution from a January 2026 tryout to this autumn’s Theatre Club booking reflects Droichead’s practice of nurturing a piece over several public outings before it reaches a wider audience. The show’s full title contains strong language, so expect an adult tone and industrial strength satire rather than family friendly comedy.

Getting There

Droichead Arts Centre is on Stockwell Street in Drogheda town centre, beside the Municipal Centre and library, within walking distance of the bus and rail stations. Drogheda is just off the M1 motorway around 50km north of Dublin, with Enterprise and commuter trains from Dublin Connolly taking about 45 minutes.
