SONG Dundalk marks its twentieth anniversary with “Twenty Years, One SONG”, a concert running for two nights at An Tain Arts Centre on Saturday, 5 September 2026 and Sunday, 6 September 2026, both starting at 7.30pm. The amateur musical theatre company has staged productions in the town since it formed, and this anniversary show gathers performers from across that history rather than presenting one scripted musical. Tickets are EUR 20 plus a booking fee and went on sale on 16 July 2026.
The concert is built around songs pulled from SONG Dundalk’s back catalogue of productions rather than a single story, so the programme moves between musical styles across the evening. Cast members who appeared in the company’s shows over the past twenty years are returning to the stage alongside current members, meaning the line-up spans several generations of the group’s performers rather than one current cast. An Tain’s main theatre seats 350 people, giving the show a proper stage setting with lighting and sound rather than a function-room concert. SONG Dundalk is a community-run company, so the anniversary format doubles as a reunion for former members and a chance for the current cast to be seen alongside the people who built the group’s reputation in the town over two decades.
An Tain Arts Centre is inside Dundalk Town Hall on Crowe Street, in the town centre a short walk from the bus station on Long Walk and from on-street parking around the Market Square. Dundalk’s Clarke Station is about a fifteen-minute walk away.
