Sinead Culbert - I'm No Wonder Woman

At The Spirit Store · Georges Quay, Dundalk, Co. Louth, A91 NR79

Sinead Culbert is one half of the DirtBirds, the comedy duo that took Irish social media by storm - but this night at the Spirit Store is just her, a microphone, and a show she has been building for months. “I’m No Wonder Woman” is a solo stand-up hour that ranges across growing up in 1980s Ireland, the unglamorous reality of parenting, the gap between how marriage looks on paper and how it feels on a Tuesday, and what happens when you stop trying to be superhuman about all of it. If you have lived any version of that life, she is talking directly to you.

What to expect

The show covers ground that is instantly familiar without being predictable - Culbert has a sharp eye for the absurdities of modern Irish domestic life and delivers them with what audiences around the country have described as total honesty and zero pretension. The tour has been selling out venues since January 2026 and the Dundalk date lands at the Spirit Store, which is the right place for it. The upstairs live room holds around 200 people and feels properly intimate - close enough that the performer can work the room, far enough back that you can lean into your companion and whisper something. It is a converted warehouse space on the quay with water views and Cooley Mountain in the distance, but inside it is just a good gig in a room that has earned its reputation over years of hosting acts from every corner of the Irish comedy circuit. Food is served downstairs at the bar (Wednesday to Saturday, noon to 8pm), so you can eat before heading up.

Getting there

Dundalk is on the M1 motorway, roughly 80km north of Dublin and 30km south of Newry. From Dublin, the drive is about an hour. The Spirit Store sits on Georges Quay, right at the edge of Dundalk town centre near the inner harbour. Street parking is available along the quay and in nearby car parks off Park Street. By public transport, Bus Eireann and Translink coaches serve Dundalk from Dublin, Drogheda, and Belfast; the town’s bus and rail station is a ten-minute walk from Georges Quay. Enterprise trains from Dublin Connolly also stop at Dundalk Clarke station on the Belfast line.

While you’re in Dundalk

A Saturday night show gives you an excuse to make a full day of it - the town has good places to eat along Park Street and Clanbrassil Street, and the inner harbour area is pleasant to walk before the show. There is more to see in Dundalk and across Co. Louth.
