Comedian Emer Maguire brings her stand-up show Perfectly Chaotic to The Burnavon in Cookstown on Saturday, 10 October 2026. Maguire has been named one of Channel 4’s top 10 new comic talents in the UK, and this NI Comedy-presented date is part of a run of shows across Northern Ireland’s arts centres through autumn 2026, including a separate, already sold-out date at Strule Arts Centre in Omagh earlier in the month.
Perfectly Chaotic is built around Maguire’s storytelling style, described by the venue as powerful storytelling paired with lightning-fast wit. The show explores what she calls the beautiful mess of modern life, moving through questionable decisions, personal revelations, daily disasters and the unexpected moments that end up shaping a person, all told in her own voice rather than through characters or impressions. It is a solo stand-up hour rather than a variety bill, pitched at an adult audience, and reviewers and radio coverage have highlighted her quick delivery and willingness to turn her own life into material. Given the demand that sold out her Omagh date, early booking for the Cookstown show is worth considering rather than leaving it to the week of the gig.
