At The Burnavon · Cookstown, Co. Tyrone
Nashville Live has built a reputation as Europe’s most decorated country music tribute show, and on 12 September it rolls into the Burnavon in Cookstown for what should be a thoroughly enjoyable night for anyone who has ever sung along to Dolly, Johnny, or Shania. Produced by JMG Music Group - a company that has been staging country shows across Ireland and the UK for years - it is the kind of production that draws serious country fans as well as people who simply know the songs and want a good night out. With over 2,000 five-star reviews behind it, it arrives with form.
Three lead singers share the stage across a two-plus hour set, covering ten iconic artists: Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Tammy Wynette, Kenny Rogers, Laney Wilson, Shania Twain, The Chicks, Josh Turner, and Luke Combs. That range is worth noting - it spans old-school classic country through to the current Nashville sound, so there is something for every decade of country music fan in the room.
The backing band is Keltic Storm, a multi-award-winning Irish live band with a long history on the country circuit. Forty songs in a single evening means the show moves quickly - expect crowd favourites to land one after another without much dead air. The production uses full theatrical staging and lighting to create that Nashville feel, and the Burnavon’s intimate theatre layout means there is no bad seat.
The cast includes Jim Devine, Tracey McAuley, and Justin McGurk - all established names on the Irish and Northern Irish country scene with substantial recording careers of their own.

Parking is free in the public car park directly behind the Burnavon. Ulsterbus services connect Cookstown to Belfast, Dungannon, and Derry, so travelling without a car is possible if you check Translink schedules for the evening.
Cookstown is a long market town - its main street, at nearly 2km, is one of the longest in Ireland - with a decent selection of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance of the Burnavon if you want to eat before the show. There is more to see in Cookstown and across Co. Tyrone.
