What to Expect

Cootehill Library hosts the “Cootehill 300 on Canvas” exhibition during National Heritage Week, running 15 to 23 August 2026. The exhibition invites visitors to take a visual walk through 300 years of Cootehill’s history, marking the town’s tercentenary. Cootehill received its fairs and markets patent on 3 July 1725, making this a landmark year for the community. The exhibition is free, fully wheelchair accessible, accessible by public transport and suitable for families.
